Jalapeno Cheddar Sourdough Biscuits
Makes: 10-12 biscuits
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Cover baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Mix to combine.
Take frozen butter and grate it into the flour mixture. Mix butter in until coated well with flour and evenly distributed.
Add in starter, yogurt, jalapenos, and cheese and lightly mix.
Turn out on a floured surface and knead as little as possible until all ingredients are combined. Dough will be very shaggy. Do not overmix or your biscuits won't rise properly!
Roll dough out to roughly 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch thick.
Using a biscuit cutter (or round cookie cutter) cut biscuits out of the dough.
Bake until golden brown or about 10-12 minutes
Serve with homemade butter
